No car? No problem!
If you would like to leave your car at home for once, Brixen is the perfect holiday destination for you. We have an efficient public transport network that makes eco-friendly holidays easy and enjoyable. So, here are a few tips!

Exploring South Tyrol by bus and train
Towns, villages, mountain pastures… with the local buses, trains and lift facilities you can get to almost every place in South Tyrol. And the best thing is that public transport is free for BrixenCard holders. All you need to do is validate your card on every journey.

Visiting Mt. Plose by bus and cable car
Reaching the top of Mt. Plose couldn’t be easier: the bus picks you up right in front of Gerharts every 30 minutes and takes you to the valley terminal of the Plose cable car in Sant’Andrea. From there, the cable car takes you up to the top. One daily return ticket for the Plose cable car is free for BrixenCard holders, and so is the bus ride.

Around Brixen by Citybus
The bright yellow Citybuses connect the town centre with the outlying areas. Whether you’d like to reach the starting point of a hike, Neustift Abbey or the village of Milland, just get on board! With your BrixenCard, you can enjoy unlimited journeys, free of charge.
The ski bus to Mt. Plose
From the beginning of December to the end of March, a ski bus service takes guests to the Plose ski area. The bus stop is right on our doorstep, and it only takes about 15 minutes to get to the cable car. Enjoy the slopes!
